About the Role:
 
The Assistant Manager will support the Studio Manager in maintaining day-to-day operations, driving sales, social media management, and client relations. This position will help provide leadership and direction to Front Desk Associates and reports directly to the Studio Manager.

Responsibilities:
  
Leadership & Sales

• Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests.
• Engage in and model leadership responsibilities assigned by Studio Manager.
• Provide clear and direct communication to Front Desk Associates, give feedback, and follow up on execution.
• Drive membership growth through strong client relationships, studio tours, and programmatic personalized follow-up via LoyalSnap.
• Support the Studio Manager in achieving monthly sales and retention goals.
• Educate new and existing clients on class packages, memberships, and promotional offers.
• Manage front desk staff on the weekends.
• Support Studio Manager in training new Front Desk Associates.
• Assist and support management team in execution of in-studio & external events.

Social Media Management 

• Create and schedule engaging, on-brand content for ACE’s social media platforms to showcase the studio and community.
• Manage weekend social media posts and community management (answer all DMs) ensuring consistent and timely communication across all channels.
• Capture high-quality class content for use in marketing and social media campaigns.

Administrative

• Maintain cleanliness, organization and inventory of the studio, ensuring everything is in working order and proactively addressing repairs.
• Provide support to Front Desk Associates during set-up and changeover of classes.
• Respond to client inquiries, issues, and communications promptly via email, DM’s & phone.
• Support leadership & Studio Manager in the generation of reports and misc. administrative tasks.
• Monitor and maintain studio calendar.
• Perform tasks assigned by Studio Manager as needed.  

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a sales-focused role
• Experience with Mariana Tek, Canva, Later, and LoyalSnap is a plus
• Social media content creation experience
• Hardworking, enthusiastic, organized, and energetic
• Available to work 20 hours per week, including Saturdays and
Sunday

About the Role:

The ACE Director of Operations is the senior leader of the ACE team and reports directly to theACE Owner. This role is responsible for ensuring ACE studio and business operations runseamlessly. This individual will manage day-to-day operations while also driving membershipgrowth, efficiency, and excellence. From creating marketing plans and managing budgets toleading the team and shaping member experiences, the Director of Operations is both astrategist and an executor, ensuring ACE delivers on its promise every single day. This role isideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented leader with experience in boutique fitness or hospitality, whothrives in high-energy, people-focused environments

Sales and Marketing:

● Create strategies for and obtain new business/first timers to drive membership, credit and private training sales
● Manage sales process and training of front desk and training team
● Meet new client and new member sales goals
● Plan, create, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, socialmedia, print, and in-studio platforms to drive brand awareness, membership growth, andclass attendance
● Manage ACE’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok), including creating compellingcontent, developing quarterly content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, andengaging with the community to increase reach and retention  
● Organize and manage execution of in-studio & local events including in-studio offerings,collaborations, and local partnerships 
● Manage community engagement initiatives to build brand loyalty and increaseword-of-mouth referrals  
● Write, design, and schedule weekly marketing emails to segmented audiences,maintaining high open and conversion rates by using performance data to guide contentand timing 
● Review and update ACE website using 3rd party as needed
● Track and analyze sales funnel metrics, including conversion rates, lead sources, andchurn, to inform marketing decisions and improve outreach effectiveness
● Work with management team on merchandise, source and order
● Draft annual budget for marketing and special events 

Studio Operations

● Monday - Friday - In person support at the studio 8am-2pm 
● Director of Operations is also required to be in-person for two evenings per month (5:30pm - 7pm) and one early morning shift per week (6am); days may vary depending on front desk support
● Support and manage daily operations, class transitions, and cleaning schedule
● Lead daily sales efforts and techniques by reviewing class lists and coaching thefront desk team on strategies  
● Ensure adherence to ACE goals and values and the client experience
● Conduct bi-weekly check-in meetings with front desk team
● Support weekend operations in-person as needed/on-call basis
● Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on key studio KPIs; make data informed decisionsabout staffing, scheduling and studio offerings
● Keep inventory of all operational products (restrooms, cleaning supplies, etc. )
● Manage operational vendors such as HVAC, towel supplier, etc.
● Update and implement new SOPs as needed
● Manage studio calendar
● Review and update the Maintenance Tracker for larger or upcoming items
● Draft annual budget for studio operations

Client communications

● Oversee client comms including emails and social channels
● Monitor info email communications, tone and responses by team - provide feedback and guidance as needed
● Respond to client inquiries as needed

Payroll:

● Process and input payroll on a bi-weekly basis
● Track team bonuses and payment schedule
● Keep payroll records, payrates and raises up to date
● Manage team profiles in Paychex and Jebra
● Send and file bi-weekly payroll reports
● Work with Supporting Strategies and Paychex for any payroll/tax questions/ updates

Account Management:

● Maintain and manage all business accounts/billing such as T-mobile, Comcast,insurance policies, Alsco, NetGym, Paychex, Vimeo, Apple etc.
● Categorize monthly spend in Quickbooks; work with Supporting Strategies as needed
● Attend and participate in monthly financial meetings with owner and SupportingStrategies
● Review and finalize yearly budget with Owner; manage spend according to budge

Trainer Management & Responsibilities

● Collaborate with Lead Trainer on Visiting Training Program; schedule visit, createagenda and book accommodations
● Oversee Lead Trainer, provide reviews, feedback and weekly 1:1
● Approve and finalize trainer schedules and updates
● Oversee and provide input for trainer reviews
● Attend Trainer Team meetings and offer input for agendas
● Work with Lead Trainer on staffing needs, Training Program planning and recruiting

Additional HR / Front Desk

● Interview and hire front desk associates
● Oversee onboarding of front desk associates and trainers, including onboardingpaperwork and Paychex
● Conduct trainings for front desk staff
● Keep all HR and tax records up to date (W9’s for vendors, etc.)
● Manage incident reports
● Update Employee Handbook as needed
● Update and execute all Trainer Contracts in collaboration with Lead Trainer
● Track and manage vacation requests for Lead Trainer and ASM

VOD Management

● Coordinate with Lead Trainer to film, upload, and distribute on-demand classes, ensuringbrand consistency and quality standards across all digital content
● Ensure videos are edited via third party to brand standards
● Upload and manage content on Vimeo
● Create Weekly Guide and VOD weekly email
● Analyze engagement data from the platform to optimize offerings, increase memberretention, and support revenue growth through online memberships.

Requirements

● Minimum 5 years of experience in fitness or hospitality management
● Marketing and social media management experience

As an ACE Team Member, you will:

Responsibilities:

● Create personal playlists for scheduled classes and privates.
● Memorize and teach cardio dances, execute program content and create arm and abs series.
● Arrive 20 minutes before class to greet clients, set up the studio and to check studio cleanliness. Guide clients with questions and describe class format to new clients.
● Arrive prepared with class content and/or private training content for scheduled instructing/assisting shifts.
● Maintain a positive helpful attitude throughout your time in the studio.
● Set up the studio for class and clean the studio after each class taught.


Commitment Requirements:

● Minimum commitment of 5 available class hours per week
● Completion of our ACE Training Program
● Staff meetings and trainings to learn new content
● Total - Approximately 5-7 hours/week

Semi-professional, professional and/ or additional dance such as previous dance team or collegiate experience required.
Pilates or yoga certification is preferred but not required.

Empower Your Teaching

Introducing the ACE Training Program.

The ACE Training Program is a purposeful and detailed program for dedicated trainees who are looking to master dance cardio, learn how to create and perform stylized arms, and execute ACE Sculpt programming.
The program is led by our Lead Trainer and assisted by ACE trainers. Trainees will receive a breakdown of ACE content, sharpen their technique and understanding proper form, tap into their creativity through guided assignments and have an opportunity to co-teach ACE classes.
